Spectralink DECT IP – Firmware Update

Dear NFON customers,

We would like to inform you that the new firmware 20Bb is now available for customers with a valid Spectralink Software Assurance for the DECT servers KWS 400 and KWS 6500.

In order to update from the free firmware 18Ba or 18Gb, which was offered without Software Assurance, to 20Bb an intermediate step is necessary.

After successfully uploading the Software Assurance in the portal, please first select the 19Ac firmware.

After the update has been performed on the Spectralink DECT server, the new firmware version 20Bb can be selected in the portal.

Nvoice for Skype for Business: Additional maintenance window

Dear Sir or Madam,

we would like to inform you about changes to the maintenance windows for the Nvoice for Skype for Business platform:

Due to the current situation, there is an increased maintenance effort for our supplier in order to adapt the platform capacities to the increasing demand. In addition, the strong customer demand for short-term onboarding domains must be entered into the certificates. For stability reasons, certificates are only entered in maintenance windows.

Therefore, in addition to the regular maintenance windows, another maintenance window will now take place:

  • Weekly, every Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight

This regulation initially applies until the end of June 2020.

Nvoice for Skype for Business – Changes to dial-in numbers

Dear NFON customers,

we would like to inform you about changes to the SFB dial-in numbers.
The German dial-in number of the EBC SfB platform, previously +49 69 90509050, will be replaced by the new dial-in number +49 69 90738 9933 from May 31, 2020.

Please note that the previous dial-in number will then no longer be valid and can no longer be used!

Nvoice for Skype for Business – Changes to dial-in numbers

we would like to inform you about changes to the SFB dial-in numbers.
For the following countries a new dial-in number is effective immediately:

  • Italy: +39 04711660163
  • Poland: +48 221042382
  • Finland: +35 8942457407

These numbers are valid immediately and replace the dial-in numbers previously provided for these countries.

Gigaset – Firmware Update N670 / N870

A new firmware version 2.29.1 with significant stability improvements is now available for the Gigaset N870 and N670.

Neorecording Update to neo Suite Version 6.3, May 2-3, 2020

Dear NFON customers,

We would like to inform you that we will have an update to neo suite version 6.3 between Saturday, 2nd of May and Sunday 3rd of May from 6pm – 3am (CEST).

The user interface and all client applications including POWERplay Web, POWERplay Pro, CLIENTcommand and DOWNLOADclient will not be accessible during this time frame.

There will be a recording downtime of approx. 10 – 20 seconds between 9pm – 10pm (CEST) and between 12am  – 1am (CEST) meaning that individual calls might not be recorded during this period.

Here are some of the highlights of this version:

  • New and modern user interface in NFON Look & Feel for simplified configuration and easier use
  • New domain neorecording.nfon.com
  • Audit Trail Module for quicker overview of your audit messages
  • Litigation Hold function in POWERplay Web to keep individual recordings indefinitely

Important guidelines for the release

There will be new versions of client applications available from the download section on the website from May 4, 2020. It is strongly recommended to only use the new applications with version 6.3 as the functionality of older client applications with the new software cannot be guaranteed.
