Important Information for your EBC Skype for Business Plattform

Dear NFON customers,

We have been informed that validation process for the SSL Certificates has been changed by the Certificate Authority (CA).

This leads to a revalidation of all domains regardless if you added the CNAME Records.

The CNAME records mentioned in the previous mails are invalid and must be removed from the DNS as of the deadline, 12.08.2017.

Please add the following DNS Records to make sure that we can successfully validate your Domain(don’t forget the underline _ at the beginning of the Hash). We are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause, but we have no influence on this process change as it’s a decision by a external authority.

Please add these records for ALL Domains that you use with the EBC Skype for Business Platform.

Finally we want to indicate that ignoring the validation process will led to a partially Skype For Business Service Outage on your side.
