End of support and product discontinuation of „nPhone“ softphone client for Windows

Dear NFON customer,

We would like to announce that from March 31st 2016 onwards, no support will be granted for the „nPhone“ for Windows softphone client and the associated device type „Ninja“ in the administration portal. So from March 31st 2016 onwards, it will be also no longer possible to create new „Ninja“ device types in the administration portal with the help of the Softphone Wizard anymore.

Furthermore from December 31st 2016 onwards, we will cease the operation of „nPhone“.

The „nPhone“ for Windows is no longer available due to missing compatibilities to latest operating systems (e. g. Windows 8 or Windows 10) and security issues (no voice encryption (SRTP)).

The „nPhone“ for Windows is replaced by the Nsoftphone premium client for Windows.

Current customers with having existing nPhone clients are able to use the latest Nsoftphone premium client for Windows for 1,- Euro monthly instead of the standard price of 2,- Euro monthly until December 31st 2016. From January 1st 2017 onwards these customers will be then invoiced with the standard price.

With having the Nsoftphone premium client for Windows your customers receive free updates as well as busy lamp fields (BLF’s), access to the local address book, voice encryption (SRTP), etc. Please find further information here.
