Major change for Nreception hardphone mode

Dear NFON customer,

We constantly develop our products in the effort to offer marketable and future-oriented solutions with safety standards of the highest degree.

Due to continuous development, optimization, and improvement with focus on our cloud platform, a decreasing number of users and several security reasons, NFON will cease the operation of the Nreception Hardphone mode from September 30th 2016 onwards.

The Nreception Softphone Mode will still be available. Changing from Hardphone Mode to Softphone Mode is possible via the NFON administration portal. Using the Softphone Mode, we recommend the following, officially certified headsets:

  • Plantronics Blackwire C310/C320
  • Plantronics SAVI 440 DECT USB
  • Plantronics SAVI 7xx
  • Plantronics Voyager Legend UC
